| Anti-discrimination website in easy-to-read format |
The European Commission’s anti-discrimination website has been made more accessible. Key parts of the site are now available in easy-to-read format, allowing people with intellectual disability to access them more easily. The new pages were developed in cooperation with Inclusion Europe, a European-level NGO representing those with intellectual disability. They include an explanation of the EU’s anti-discrimination Directives and people’s rights and obligations under the legislation.
The new pages mark the first time any website on Europa – the European Union’s web server – has been made available in easy-to-read format.
